Jesus Christ, word made flesh, incarnate presence of God,
You were born of a woman and came into human history as an infant,
Protect all women and girls who are pregnant and vulnerable today.
God, who came to live as one of us, hear our prayer.
Jesus Christ, Savior of our world, redeemer of all creation,
You fled into Egypt as a refugee and lived with no home to call your own,
Watch over all women and children who have fled war and violence today.
God, who came to live as one of us, hear our prayer.
Jesus Christ, lamb who was slain, chosen one of God,
You were whipped and beaten, and you carried your cross toward Golgotha,
Console all women who are crushed by heavy burdens today.
God, who came to live as one of us, hear our prayer.
Jesus Christ, light of the world, bringer of freedom,
You were rejected and abandoned, and died a terrible death,
Comfort all women who are abused and abandoned today.
God, who came to live as one of us, hear our prayer.
Jesus Christ, Prince of Peace, God of wholeness,
You touched the untouchable and cast out demons,
Touch all women who suffer from AIDS and chronic illness today.
God who came to live as one of us, hear our prayer.
Jesus Christ, wonderful counselor, God of comfort and compassion,
You were a friend of sinners, a companion to outcasts,
Befriend all women forced into prostitution and the sex trade today.
God who came to live as one of us, hear our prayer.
Jesus Christ, first to be raised from the dead, Holy Son of God,
You gave hope to all those in whom the divine image was hidden and distorted,
Welcome all women born and unborn, starving and well-fed, abused and coddled today.
